Quiet Place with Bear

image is available for purchase

Bear Lake and Blue Lake are treasures to the Cuchara valley. Bear is a bit farther up the mountain, and its shoreline is irregular, with a few small inlets. This adds to its appeal as a place to go for quiet reflection and renewal: You can choose either an inlet’s more hidden places for greater solitude or the point of a peninsula to be more surrounded by the peaceful water. A day spent with Bear is treasure added to one’s soul.

Quiet Place with Bear
The image is of a mountain lake with a thick set of dark clouds above it and extending beyond the horizon. The lake has two small peninsulas lined with trees, and on the point of one, a person sits, quietly contemplating.

Randy lives at the intersection of philosophy, theology, and culture — reading, watching, walking, and sometimes creating in search of our better selves. Film and photography have a lot to do with it, but anyway, art. The tie is an anomaly.
