Croatia Mountain Road with Flowers

All along Croatia’s southern coast, by the Adriatic Sea, runs a ridge of mountain peaks. Just on the other side of that ridge, you can find little-used mountain roads, like this one that meanders through peaceful hills of lush greenery dotted with yellow and white flowering bushes. These roads connect small villages, farms, and orchards that seem as intimate and tranquil as they must have been a hundred years ago. All the better that the soft twilight sky makes it a peaceful, natural setting away from urban life.
